I have received the best service from Mel in the auto shop. My battery went in my car and being a single mom with one car I was in a panic. MEl was able to fit me in right away ( I had to call I tow truck to pick up the car while I was working) . I work in qualicum so I worried about how I was going to get to canadian tire in parksville to pick up my car, Mel and a Co worker drove my car to qualicum to my work. They went far and above in their service. I will be back for all of my car needs. Thank you again.

This is a large shop with well trained and polite staff. I would not hesitate to return there. I sometimes feel these places are just there to upsell you - not here. They offer good old fair dealing.

Kal Tire repaired a flat tire for no charge.after Jacks Tire would repair only for a charge.That tire was a part of a set of 4 tires that I bought from Jacks Tire 6 months earlier.From now on I shop at Kal Tire.

I had a wonderful experience with Kal Tire on Victoria Road. My 82 year old Mother and I had a flat tire - and we had just come off the ferry from Vancouver to Nanaimo. We had a long journey from Seattle, Washington. We pulled into Kal Tire to get the tire fixed - it had a nail in it. They removed the nail, fixed the tire, and didn't charge us for the repair. Very kind. Thank You Kal Tire for your generosity.

I have had two instances where I have had to ask for help with flat tires in the past year. Once at Christmas and now just yesterday. A family run business who are always doing the best to fit you in even when they are very busy. Kind, courteous and helpful. Came here on a road trip when one of my tires had a slow leak. The guy helped us out immediately even though he was on a lunch. Super nice guy and helped me with exactly what I needed. If I lived in the area this would be the place I would go to take my car.
