Good, honest guy who founded this one. Worked with his wife Isabel for many years, so know them to be good people. I ended up going with another roofer instead back in the 80s & sorely regretted that decision - I got what I paid for & it ended up in court. What a mess. The work crew came every day and worked very hard. Jim is a sweet guy, who is very understanding and compassionate. We've had a run of bad luck, and it had culminated in that moment in our roof collapsing. He came in and fixed it within the week, and even found great shingles to match our roof. George's roofing and contracting was one of 4 contractors we got quotes from. His was the most detailed, one of the lowest and included recommendations regarding improvements to our eves troughs.
A quick check with the BBB indicated George's operation had not had any complaints so we asked him to proceed with re-shingling our roof..
While doing the job his workers found a huge wasp's nest in the roof cavity above the garage which they promptly removed. A well done job was done promptly including a complete clean up.
