I come often to this restaurant since I moved to London (9 months ago) and I never had a bad service here or bad food - this is by far our favourite London restaurant! I am surprised to read about the bad service - we never had a bad server here! I mostly come with my 5 yr old son, and on top of being professional and helpfull in menu selections, they are always very patient and friendly with a curious and chatty 5 yr old pest... Food listed above we order the most often as those are our favourites, but there are many other items on the menu that we like as well. The only complaint - we'd like to see a longer desert list.
I have never in my life had a better meal or dining experience. The food was so incredible!! I had the scallops wrapped in bacon and the roast chicken stuffed with brie and proscuitto. The portion sizes were perfect and the food just melted in my mouth. I am very critical of servers becasue I was a server for 7 years, but our experience was amazing. This is top quality restaurant, and I really recommend going there if you are looking for an intimate fine dining experience.
The food was awesome, loved the ribs which melt in your mouth, special entre was also excellent.
amazing food and a great trendy atmosphere for groups or dates. our waitress was very friendly and attentive. only complaint is that the meat appetizer portions could have been larger.
I would have to agree with a lot of the reviewers. The food is quite good (for London) and has a lot of variety on the menu which is nice. The only qualm that I have is that the servers are quite rude and seem to be annoyed that they have to do their job. This restaurant has the potential to be amazing if they hired quality staff. (as a side note, I ordered the Brie and it came out twice cold. The third time it was cooked through the centre and I was pleased that it was not on the bill at the end of the meal!)
