If my boyfriend and I want great food that never disappoints we make the teck from Maple Ridge to Charlie's it's hands down our favorite place to eat and the fact that they have gluten free options is even better as I have celiac and finding places that have a clear menu for gluten free and is safe and understanding and doesn't judge me for something I can't control. Safe to say Charlie's is my happy place. Ohhh and the view isn't half bad either ? Go see for yourself Lire plus

I have been to Cho Sun Bbq a number of times for Birthdays etc. The food portions are generous and very well priced compared to other Korean Bbq restaurants in the area that I have been to. The food is good and the condiments are varied. I find this spot always busy which is a good indicator as to the quality of the restaurant. The service is fair and I find the staff polite and friendly. Lire plus

A great restaurant with a really cosy, warm atmosphere. Were there during our honeymoon and the staff was really pleasant. The food was very good, if a bit pricey. Tried one of the BC wines and was surprised by how good it was. Service could have been more attentive but was sincere and friendly when we got it. Would recommend you try it if only for the atmosphere and the food Lire plus

Great value - Great Food - Great Service We went to Cravings for Valentine's and it was simply one of the best dinners we have had in Vancouver. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. They had a great selection of 4 starters and a selection of 4 entrees. We had the " best of both worlds" - an awesome combo of seafood, chicken and steak. The tiger prawns were huge and grilled to perfection. The double bittersweet chocolate cake for dessert was outstanding in both presentation and taste. Great selection of wines - reasonable prices and a very quiet setting. I've been going to Darby's for over 10 years now. It's had it's ups and downs, and right now I think it's in an up place. The food has suddenly gotten a lot better in the last few months, better than some of chain restaurants. The room is a bit old and dated, but in the evening it has that feeling of being in a buddies basement bar-but with good food. I would certainly recommend Darby's as an alternative grown up dining environment for anyone in Kitsilano. You get food better than the big box chains, cheaper, and in an environment you don't feel the need to get dressed up for. Lire plus
