I stopped in for pasta night with my fiancé and everything was lovely. The host and waitress were both very friendly. The atmosphere in the restaurant and on the patio (we sat in both locations as I was a bit warm on the patio) was fun. Our drinks, appetizers and entrées all came exactly as expected and were delicious. I have to prempt everything that I am going to say with I did enjoy the food so much that I may go there again for dinner (am on contract in the area). The hot and sour sea-food soup appeared to be small, but when the flavours filled my mouth, and I discovered 3 large cleaned shrimp (only tail bit remaining) I'm happy to say I'm quite pleased with this selection. The mango salad was not available as a 'plain' mango salad, but also came with shrimp, making it $5-$7 more than I usually pay for mango salad. Again the shrimp were large, clean and fresh (good 'bite', not soggy at all), but the dressing seemed made at the last minute and didn't contain the rich complexity that the soup did. I'm a university student who lives in the area, and my roommates and I discovered House of Greek last year. We were close enough to make use of the no tax when you pick up perk, which is great. Every once in a while we would order the sandwich party, sometimes with two people, sometimes with 6 (you save more money with more people). At the beginning of the school year last year the order was always perfect and the food was delicious. However, I'm a little disappointed because they stopped offering baklava in the sandwich party even though they still advertise it in the flyer. The last time I ordered there they completely messed up my order, giving me a chicken shawarma when I ordered a falafel pita. They fixed the order but made me come pick it up again. Point is though, the food here is absolutely delicious. It's a great take out restaurant! Lire plus

Cheap and Delicious food, it is easy to miss until you have been there, the place may be a little difficult to find but you can get a great meal and could expect to pay anywhere between $9 to about ~$17, a great deal for the food you are getting. Not only is it delicious but it is also filling. The owner is extremely friendly and you get your meals quick. The atmosphere is great and is definitely welcoming, and the closest I could find to a problem (which is definitely much closer to being a nitpick) is that if you are both vegetarian and gluten free you are out of luck (however if you are one of those things, there is something for you). Better than most ethnic places I have been to in Ottawa, and once you find it once it is much more accessible than the comparable restaurants that often are in the centre of town. I look forward to my next experience there. EDIT: Also it is designed to be a dinner place and the meals feel that way, if you have a choice of going there for either dinner or lunch I would recommend going there for dinner, although I here they are fairly busy around dinner time. Been twice in the past month-once for dinner and a lunch. The space is small and has been busy but accomodating on both occasions. You can buy fresh fish to take home from a counter as you come in. They serve a basket of warm little grainy rolls to start along with glasses of water. My companion's halibut, declared the best ever, sat perched on julliened veggies with a light citrus sauce as the days special. My jumbo shrimps were perfectly done in a garlic sauce. The glasses of wine were more generous than one usually finds. The fish and chips came with fresh cut fries and a small homemade coleslaw. Nice and crispy. Our only disappointments were a cup of lobster bisque-thin broth vs the creamy concoction I was expecting(Maybe I don't know bisque) and crab cakes which came as two large balls with a uniform minced texture. Hard to tell it was crab but tasted ok-Generally everything coming from the kitchen looked wonderful. Lire plus
