The Bean Bar is a really good low key restaurant in the Westdale neighbourhood. They provide an extensive menu with a wide variety to choose from at a reasonable price.
The food is fantastic and comes in portions that are not overwhelming where you can't finish it - just perfect. I brought my parents here to see what it was like and it exceeded their expectations.
I had the ham and maple cranberry wrap and it was terrific. Definitely hit the spot.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is very relaxed and mellow which is nice to have conversation. It's a good place for lunch or an early supper.
The staff is super friendly so the service is great. If you're ever in Westdale, it's definitely worth checking out.

I was pleasently surprised with this hotel. Though it does look pretty from the outside it seemed to not be busy so i was hesitant on the service. The staff was wonderful and accomodating and the hotel was very quite which was great because I stayed there for 2 nights between flight changes. The rooms were clean and I had the luxury of getting a jacuzzi suite which was sensational and relaxing. The restaurant staff were not exactly on their toes but the food was very good. The complimentary breakfast in the morning is exactly what you need to start off your day (coffee, juice, muffins etc.)

Upon returning to the Niagara area in 2015 & 30years later, I continue to enjoy the Barrel weekly with my kids, whether it is eating in or delivery! I love the new decor! My husband and I shared the Warm Salad special, which was fantastic. I had the Duo of Duck and my husband tried the special which was Beef Cheek. Both were really, really good. We ordered a nice bottle of wine, which was very reasonably priced. Service was attentive and professional, with just enough friendliness. We will definitely be back.
Not sure why the previous poster thinks they use pre-made sauces, because they definitely DO NOT!!

I don't usually do these reviews. I also drove from Oakville to this restaurant for take out, a lot of thai restaurants close to me are closed on Mondays. This was the best chicken pad thai I have had, I will drive here again any day of the week. Lots of chicken and really tasty!

My husband and I had been talking for months about trying this pub out we finally went and we are glad we did. We had an excellent meal, great service..We might have gone a little overboard in ordering but we wanted to try a bit of everything. All items came piping hot with great flavour. Best rib steak ever. Cooked to perfection, but what do you expect at $55 a pop?Allover a good experience. Asked the waiter what was meant by filet-mignon on the bone? He mumbled ( as you should when in doubt) and I never got an intelligent answer. There's tenderloin on the menu as wll and then filet mignon which is tenderloin as well.I spent 50+years in the meat biz, removed thousands of tenderloins but never heard of 'on the bone'...a mystery!

I have lived in Dundas, Ontario for most of my life and have visited the Collins Brewhouse many times. I use the term ‘visited’ as if I am visiting someone’s home for the simple reason, each and every member of the Collins Brewhouse staff welcomes visitors’ as if they are family.
It is a quaint pub and restaurant that adds more charm to the town of Dundas. The service is just as incredible as the food they serve. The southwest chicken wrap and chicken wings are super, I would without a doubt recommend these two dishes.
Also, I have attended staff parties in the basement of the Collins Brewhouse. The accommodations that they provide such as; pool tables, a personal served bar, a big screen television, and food served in a buffet self-serve format, provide customers with fun and entertaining memories.
As you can see in my review for the Collins Brewhouse, I would most definitely recommend this restaurant to all age groups. If you like good company, good food and a great atmosphere this is the restaurant to check out!

It was my first time there and loved it! I ordered the perch and fries (ate inside, so their great little buffet was included with my meal!) The perch was done to perfection, so tasty! The buffet was great, with the different salads and the amazing fruit to finish my meal off. I enjoyed the old pictures, so much history there! Our server was very friendly and most attentive. I will be back, I enjoyed it so much!

We had read reviews about this place and decided to visit it one night. We were definitely not disappointed! When we first walked in, we were seated right away. The decor was very nice and casual. Our server was so polite, we were impressed with his kindness. We then chose to eat from the Indian style buffet. It was so delicious! They had tons of foods to choose from, I loved it! Everyone was friendly and welcoming. I will definitely go back!

Breakfast was very good. Plentiful and served with pride. Waitress was very very good and attentive ... even hooked us up with a full chocolate milk to go when we accepted the offer for a top-up to go. Good variety. Was so good .. we came back for dinner ! Priced right. Will certainly return in any future trip to the Falls.

The Cove Room remains in the early '70s. I hope they never change it.
We had a terrific meal tonight the servrice was great, and the wait staff is tremendous. The celery bread is amazing and salad cart was awesome. The yellow perch was done perfectly. Keep up the great tradition.
