I have been going to J. Max mechanical exclusively for over 25 years. When I purchased a new Civic in 2006, I skipped the dealership's mechanical section and stayed with J. Max. I'm a woman and all the staff are respectful. They don't talk down to me or over my head. My SUV back window was vandalized and severely cracked. The wind over the weekend had blown most of the glass into my vehicle. I called other places but no one could get me in as quickly as Mr Auto Glass, plus their rating was high. they filed my MPI claim, installed new back window and cleaned inside of the vehicle. it was a hassle free experience. Went into speedy on Saturday to repair my rearview mirror that had fallen off. I tried to repair it myself and surprisingly to no one but myself did it wrong. They informed me they could repair my mistake for $15. I thought that was a great price as it cost me $10 to do it wrong. Me and my two sons waited about 5 minutes and the repair was done. We were informed that there would be no charge and I should take the boys out for ice cream with the $15 I saved. Small acts of kindness like this need to be recognized. First time to deal with Ziebart on March 21, 2018 to get our recently purchased vehicle polished. I was taken cared of by Doug, who is a great guy. He made sure I get all my questions answered and requests taken cared of. The car was supposed to get a cut and polish work but Doug also threw in a sealant coat. Doug made sure I was happy with the service until the last minute. Had to take pictures of my Sorento w/ the mirror-like shine. Would go back and refer people to the shop! Lire plus
