Wonderful restaurant and drinking establishment. I usually go there with my boyfriend but sometimes, late at night, when he is asleep, you can find me at Jax because that is where good friends meet. And I've met so many good friends like MJ and have recently got my hair extensions done by this beautiful woman who had carried around roses that entire evening. I went there once with my friend Claire, who was, at the time, struggling with her weight and needed assistance to get to the karaoke bar to sing 'Stand By Your Man' and no one mocked her obesity. The food there is great and it is full of great real people. I cannot highly recommended this place enough and when you come out on a Saturday night after making an easy 25 bucks, I'll have a place reserved for you at my table. I have been ordering from other restaurants and the food and service was best so far. The service was although the best so far, but not the best you can get on busy days. But during Christmas days, the service was the BEST ever, because there was not just one server but 2, the younger, taller one with the better English was a great help; she helped me load the food on to my car, which was a great help for a old me. The food that I bought was enough for my party (which had over 60 people), and was all that expensive for a group this size. The place is very clean for a resturant, but a bit too small to fit a large crowd. Another time where I had to put it on delivery, although there was a 4hour range, the food was still nice and hot, and the chicken was still crispy, just the way I like it. Overall I would give The Sun BBQ a 5/5 (6/5 if I could) because it's the best anyone can get (especially during Christmas times). I would definitely recommend this to everybody, no matter how big the group or small, there is something for you to enjoy. Lire plus

Had the Crab cakes and Black cod, my husband had the mushroom soup and steak, the food was flawless, the service was quick and attentive. Visited this restaurant for the first time on Saturday afternoon after driving by several times and not even realizing that it was really there (found it on restaurantica). We all shared a bunch of appetizers which were all great (huge portions so we took a lot of food home) and then my husband and I split the clubhouse and a burger. The burger was the best that I had ever had, and the clubhouse was great. I was with a party of 5 and we were all totally shocked by the huge portions that we received. The service was extremely friendly and speedy and we were made to feel like we were right at home. The server even wrote out a list of their daily specials for us so that we would know for the next time we came back. The place was super busy and I can see why. I have a feeling that this will turn into our new local spot for dinner and drinks. Great atmosphere with cliental that seemed to be from toddler right through to the elderly and prices are extremely reasonable.. for all of the food we ordered it probably would have cost double anywhere else! I love Charlie's Steakery! The food is so good! We ordered our sandwiches and was waiting for them. The man behind the counter forgot about our french fries. He was very apolegetic and kind. He said after we get our sandwiches, to sit down and he would bring our french fries to us. We received our sandwiches, which were delicious, and we sat down. After a few minutes, the man gave us our french fries, and a free glass of lemonade. He said the lemonade was for forgetting the french fries. Such a nice guy! The food can't be topped, and I will definitely return again. This is the best fast-food place I have ever been to. The service was excellent! Lire plus

We visited on Sunday for brunch and to celebrate a birthday. We have been here before and loved it so decided to take our out of town guests here to celebrate. They were so impressed with the Blackshop. We had intimate seating for the 6 of us. Several in our group ordered the eggs benedict and they were delicious! Eggs were perfectly poached. My first visit was pleasant enough. We were greeted right away and accomodated for our party of 5. At first I was not really impressed with only the 'make your own stirfry' option for dinner but was told it was excellent. Tons of selection of meats, veggies and sauces...wasn't sure where to start! Guys at the fryer seemed to really enjoy their jobs, it was very entertaining to watch. Food was really yummy. Atmosphere was alright, didn't really notice any defectives like others are posting. Waitress was somewhat reliable in refilling our drinks. When it comes to tipping, the guys at the fryer really earn theirs however not sure about the waitresses as all they did was bring us water....nothing from the menu was ordered. The only downside to this place is the price (15.99 per person Mon-Thurs is the deal we did) but I guess for others it's an awesome price for the food. Lire plus

My husband and I dined at La Casa on Saturday night. We started with Mussels for appetizer - delicious...I wanted to drink the sauce it was so good. We also shared a Ceasar Salad. The dressing was very nice, perhaps a bit too much garlic (a little too overwhelming). Still tasty though. I ordered lobster pasta, all I can say is DELICIOUS! So tasty. I brought some home and was looking forward to eating it again the next day for lunch. My husband ordered beef tenderloin. Again, delicious! Tender, perfectly cooked and tasty. The waiter was very professional and friendly. We had a great time and a fantastic meal. No wonder La Casa is still one of the best restaurant's in London. It's so nice to go out for dinner and receive a great meal. The meals are not pretentious or overpriced (unlike other London restaurants in the downtown area). The food is simply delicious. I have taken my 8 year old daughter there on several occasions for supper. Every time we eat well, are treated well and get to relax and actually enjoy each others company. I love how the staff makes my daughter feel special by remembering her, using her name, actually talking to her and listening to her answers. On top of all that the food is delicious and affordable.
