I had apparently dropped my credit card after pumping gas. The owner personally returned my card to me the next morning at my hotel (I had turned in my rental car and was flying out for Tennessee within the hour) and refused a tip.
What a great guy!!!

Best gas station on the planet - full serve. I'm a crippled senior & can't easily pump my own gas. There's a gentleman - a TRUE gentleman - employed there who deserves to be Husky's employee of the century. My dogs bark like crazy when I go there for gas (NOWHERE else!) - or even just drive by! They always get cookies, and they kinow it! Next time I will get his name and let you know . . . (ALL attendants at this Husky station/store are terrific, but this gentleman is OUTSTANDING! . . . really!

Dropped off at 7:20 AM this morning (Apr 07/21) - David was upfront about the wait time (based on quick inspection) - booked an appointment for (Apr 12/21) in case they could not get to it today/rest of the week and said it would be better not to drive. Up front about cost and emailed me the quote and that they could possibly get it done tonight by closing. Got the call it was ready - very impressed with the staff and the job that they did. Wasa Slim Pickens is a great place!! I've been coming here every summer for over 15 years! They provide a great service from gas to groceries, ice cream parlor, great coffee and even a liquor outlet. It's our one-stop shopping at Wasa. Owner, Christian, absolutely works hard to provide great service, and ensures her staff do the same. Just look at all the locals who come in. No doubt about it, we'll be back!
