My family started going here about a month ago for breakfast on Sunday mornings and absolutely love it!!! There is a wonderful homey feel that you get the minute you walk in the restaurant. It is the only place in Kingston we have found so far for breakfast that does not let your coffee cup go empty (a definite plus in our group). All of the servers are extremely nice, service is speedy, and the food is great. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants a great homestyle place for breakfast. Lire plus

This place came up when I asked some friends about a good burger joint in Kingston. I gave it a shot and I have to agree the food is great. The burgers are large portion, and the sweet potato fries where great along with the chipotle mayo. The two meals and an appetizer ran up a pretty healthy bill, but it was worth it. Great place to eat and great service. Been there 3 times in the past 2 weeks. I guess there going through change of ownership. Amazing to me how rude people can be. One of the times I was there I was standing in line and some lady was saying she had been waiting an hour. I had walk in behind them and she told the server that she was waiting for over an hour. Whenever going for a quick bite to eat, I always suggest this restaurant to friends and family, my boyfriend and I frequent the place for breakfast as well. It's usually busy, but our food is always hot and very tasty... Always exactly what I order, too, which is important to me being vegetarian. I work for a huge chain restaurant, and am sick of frozen and pre-packaged food. The Family Circle is part of a dying breed of restaurant actually serving fresh and homemade food. Anyone who has had a bad experience here should give them another chance because I personally love everything about it and can't see why anyone would have been treated badly there. Lire plus

Great meals. Food was all fresh and high quality. Eggs to order, breakfast meats tasty, coffee is good and ample. Not much atmosphere except for the working class people, mostly men before work or lunch break. Everyone seemed very at ease and unpretentious including the staff who were eager to please. My husband and I dined at La Casa on Saturday night. We started with Mussels for appetizer - delicious...I wanted to drink the sauce it was so good. We also shared a Ceasar Salad. The dressing was very nice, perhaps a bit too much garlic (a little too overwhelming). Still tasty though. I ordered lobster pasta, all I can say is DELICIOUS! So tasty. I brought some home and was looking forward to eating it again the next day for lunch. My husband ordered beef tenderloin. Again, delicious! Tender, perfectly cooked and tasty. The waiter was very professional and friendly. We had a great time and a fantastic meal. No wonder La Casa is still one of the best restaurant's in London. It's so nice to go out for dinner and receive a great meal. The meals are not pretentious or overpriced (unlike other London restaurants in the downtown area). The food is simply delicious.
