Some food was a little salty but the portion sizes are generous. Too much batter on tempura items. The menu is Canadianized as are most Chinese restaurants but I found they have more items to choose from. The Specials that they have for Families of 4 or 5 are pretty decent. They've been there for years, and have a full menu with all the favourites. Today I tried it. I ordered way too much for delivery and glad I did! It will not be wasted! I went wit a group my friends a couple weeks ago, we were not sure what to order, individually or sharing?. the waitress recommended family dinner for 6B for us. We could even substitute other dish with the order. It was surprising fast and delicious! we had tasted variety food. Hot and Sour Soup is the best! I had never have such soup anywhere else. Also I like Mongolian Beef and Broccoli, Bean curd with Dry Hot pepper sauce. Very tasty! i've been going to sing lee for years, and they are truly a gem on victoria street even after the management changes. their lunch specials are probably the best in town, the portions are fairly big and the food is always great! there are also so many choices that even as a regular customer, i have problems deciding on which dish to try! the service is friendly and very good for the style of restaurant it is, my husband and i are always greeted with a warm smile. place is also a lot tidier after the new owners have taken over. take out can be a bit slow when theyre busy, but we are willing to wait for a quality meal rather than restaurants who tend to put something mediocre together to conserve time. Ive been coming here since i moved a couple minutes down the street almost 10 years ago and i have yet to be disappointed! Serving sizes are huge, and are all under 10 dollars. All the food i have tried has been amazing and i highly recommend the sesame chicken and mostly the shanghai noodles. Really great mom and pop restaurant, only negative is the limited seating but everyone orders take-out. Dont listen to the review beneath mine buddy has no idea whats good. Lire plus
