Went with my friend to Crown Pita in Pickering for lunch. My friend has a service dog. On entering, staff, with elevated voices, told us that dogs weren’t allowed. When we tried explaining that the dog was a service dog, they raised their voices further and told us that we couldn’t be there with the dog. Feeling very uncomfortable, we left. Misunderstandings happen, but the staff there centred out my friend and made it clear that they had do desire to dialogue about the situation. Lire plus
