This is a gem of a restaurant, tucked into a strip mall. Eaten there three times now, and consistently the food is fresh, tasty, and well prepared. Some highlights - great hot and sour soup; fantastic General Tao's chicken, and fantastic chicken balls. Try the crab cheese wontons for a nice treat, as well.

Traveling from the U.S.A., I recently had the pleasure of dining at iL Forno in Woodbridge, ON, Canada, and it has quickly become one of my favorite Italian restaurants. During my visits, I tried the Mediterranean pizza, chicken fricassee, grilled rib eye, and salmon fillet. I have visited heaven on Earth when I discovered China Garden!! I moved to Canada in 1999, and in August I first discovered this place! Since then, it has been a love affair! The food is as good as in India!! We go here almost every month since the past 11 years!! We always order the Sweet Corn Chicken Soup, Egg Fried Rice, Chicken Manchurian, Chili Chicken, Chicken in Garlic Sauce, and go home satiated!! Thank you, China Garden!! You guys and gals are the finest!!!

Family owned and serving the community since 1993....the only place that can display on their menu; NO-MSG. I always drive there for the pick-up special prices. Every time I telephone & I call out the number on the menu, the son knows what meal goes with the number !! Only disappointment is that they have later week-end times for operating hours. Cannot say enough about this place, I love it !!

I decided to give this place a chance. I had an amazing experience. The waitress/bartender Victoria if I’m not mistaken gave great recommendations. Victoria was professional, friendly, understanding and always had a smile on her face willing to assist. She came often to check up to make sure the food and everything was going well, and I really appreciated that. The cove fried rice was definitely a hit. I recommend this place to everyone, request to speak to Victoria, you won’t be disappointed.

Went to Dim Sum New years morning at 11:00 the restaurant was 1/4 full by 11:45 it was lined up outside.
Food was very good and portion sizes were good.
Staff was very friendly and smiling. Food came very quick and we ate a lot total bill was $49.95 total for 4 of us.
I will be back again without a doubt.

Here is my unbiased unpaid for review after visiting the restaurant last night. This is a high quality, high end buffet. Where other buffets people eat at and do not complain because a lower food quality is expected for buffet this restaurant surpassed all my expectations. One of the best restaurants I have been to in GTA. For the price paid the food is 10/10, ambiance 10/10 and service 10/10.

I’ve been eating here for 28 years. It’s the best Chinese food anywhere, the sauces don’t have that sugary thick texture. The food is real, great new dishes try the rainbow chop crystal fold, the chicken sue guy , the chicken with mixed veg and almonds and the Cantonese chow mein. This isn’t your average Chinese food, that’s why some people hate it, it’s real food with real sauces.

This has to be the best Chinese food in Hamilton, we are never disappointed with the food here.
Only downside is that they are so popular they get extremely busy and service can be slow. if you call ahead of your needs (allow an hour for your order to be ready) then this is the place to go!
