Thought we’d try the pizza and pasta when they first opened (Port Dover location) and this is now our FAVE place! The sauce is delicious, they are very generous with portions, reasonably priced and friendly. Also just had the chicken bites tonight and YUM! ? we will be loyal customers that’s for sure!! Also love that cute little bun in the middle of the pizza;)

We have come every year in December from Hamilton to Simcoe to see the Christmas lights. We stop at the Barrel Restaurant first, and it is a highlight of our trip: excellent food, excellent atmosphere. There is a very large menu, so I know people can order what they want and sometimes get something different from what they want. Suffice to say that I find the Penne Capri on par with meals served in Italy, and my husband and in-laws refuse to order anything other than the lasagna because they enjoy it so much every time. Good work once again!
