From Ryan, Katt and Gail. Weve been shopping at bentleys for a few years now, and we all have really come to enjoy the owner and his son and loved going in and seeing them and stopping for a chat. The store in owned by such incredibly kind people, the type that make you feel like family when you go in. The product quality is consistently outstanding, exceeding my expectations every time. One can find all kinds of teas, from Wulong to Mucha, from China to Japan to Korea. I Love Saveon foods... I am 83 year old senior and i totally depend on them... just had 2 falls and and hip surgery ... Patrick the IRISMAN... was just here delivering so kind making sure i got everything i ordered... He said my name is Patrick... i looked at him and said you are an IRISHMAN HE started laughing and said yes he was... W e need more people like him.... This is my "Go To" grocery store. This is a great grocery store! Always stocked shelves and helpful staff. I have found the floral and deli departments to always be helpful and efficient. It is true, you must always phone the local store when sending flowers. I frequently send flowers long distance via Safeway, but always phone the local store during local business hours.

I have been a frequent customer at your store since it opened.
Occasionally I notice an exceptional employee (there are many) and I commend them in this space.
Today I encountered such an employee and would like to commend him to your attention. Unfortunately, I don't have his name, but he is a taller man maybe in his thirties and he appeared to be Persian.
He was working very hard in the yogourt section at around 6:OO PM. I approached him and commented on his hard work:a valuable employee!

A great little store. Like it's sisters in town, it has wonderful, unique offerings in the front half of the store, but it has an excellent selection of regular groceries in the back half. Some things are a bit expensive, but they are oh so worth the extra. Right now, they have "Spot prawns" which are obscenely great tasting. Check it out. It's worth it@

Staff are very helpful!! Their meats and fish are extremely fresh and they have a top notch meat manager that goes out of his way to be helpful! During Covid it’s the only place I felt safe as they took great precautions and having senior hours to shop made it that much better! It’s a neighborhood treat to have them there!!

Stong's is another example of what a grocery store should be. Mostly food, lots of quality produce and fresh bakery and butcher selection and great service. I gather at one time there were several of these stores in the Lower Mainland and this store is the last of their kind. Thank goodness. A great place to buy all kinds of staples and also some hard to find items that aren't carried at major chains. Stong's is what the neighbourhood supermarket should be and their constant stream of customers is a testament to the quality and excellent customer service on offer.
