My family and I went to Point of Mara Resort for the first time this past weekend and loved it!! The grounds were immaculate and the washrooms were the nicest I have ever been in. We will definitely be back very soon! Thanks Christine and Doug for a fabulous stay!Lire plus
I'm not much for trailer parks. However, This park is amazing. Cheap golf, great pool, you can rent movies. It's also reasonably priced.
Hope that helpsLire plus
My children have attended this camp for 4 year and they cant wait to go back! The counselors are fantastic - caring, trained, safe and engaged. The activities are fun and challenging. They develop leadership skills, team building skills, gratitude and an appreciation for others. The camp has an old-fashioned, traditional feel with lots of water and outdoor activities and the curriculum includes amazing activities and skill development that will help the kids as they grown into adults. Love it!Lire plus
We joined TriStar 5 years ago, and tried their different recreational and pre-competitive programs. Parent&Tot was an excellent introduction to the world of gymnastics, when my toddlers were still not very happy to be out of my sight, but were ready to explore and socialize. Recreational programs are led by very enthusiastic coaches, and my children learned a whole lot of skills, from balancing on the beam to climbing the rope. I wanted a little bit more for my kids, and signed my older daughter up for pre-competivie program, and I couldn't believe when within a year she became so much stronger and more coordinated! She also became very confident, and now she demonstrates excellent results in skiing, swimming and classical ballet. Thanks TriStar!!!Lire plus
I grew up in Scarborough, but after staying at Halls Marina, I am ready to move North. This quaint camprground allows you to escape the city while still being close to major ammenitiies located in Parry Sound. I have stayed at provincial parks like Killbear and have only been disapointed by their over population and difficult staff (This is not camping, I might as well have stayed in the city if I wanted to be surrounded by loud obnoxious crowds). Halls was hard to get into and very exclusive, but once I got my reservation, I was treated like a long time friend. This is camping. On random nights, my family and I would even be entertained by a free ski show (wakeboarding, slalom skiing, barefooting, we couldnt believe it). We will never head further North or stay further South again. We loved Halls Marina. This is camping at it's best.Lire plus
