Best Indian Food Ever in Mississauga, I was hooked the first time my colleagues took me for Lunch Buffet. Just for 9.99 the food was amazing and fresh. They even gave my colleague a Garlic nan instead of regular Nan & the waiter told us that no extra charge. Couldn't ask for much more
Very good Indian food, hot, fresh and authentic Indian. Service is friendly and attentive and prices are keen. Excellent take out as well. Love it.
Went because I bought a Groupon. We were a party of 6 adults and an infant. We had read some not so good reviews before going so we were a bit worried but what the heck we had a couon. We started with the Tandoori platter ($19) and 2 garlic naans. Both were excellent. Then we had the chicken tikka, butter chicken and more garlic naan plus the plain one. More than enough for all of us. Everything was excellent , the food, the service and even the hostess was friendly. (Some reviewer said she was 'surly'). They were quite happy to serve the b'day cake we brought. We were quite pleased. We would definitely return, BTW: they had Kingfisher beer which is now unavailable at the LCBO.
I and my wife have been visiting this restaurant with our coupons (Wagjag etc.). The food is very delicious and a generous serving (each enough for 2). However the woman at the counter (owner's sister) is very surly and unfriendly. If you ignore her the food is great and a good value for your money.
I am truly a fan of Garam Masala restaurant, reasonable price and high quality restaurant. Five star chef really doing the excellent work. I often go to India due to my work and know local dishes very well. I tried other indian restaurant here but doesn't find that real taste. Garam Masala has wide variety of different flavor dishes. There unique tasting dishes like Tandoori fish, lamb chop masala, Chicken Lavabdar, palak paneer, garlic nan and Peshwari Nan. If anybody wants to try true indian cuisine and doesn't want to go India, You must try Garam Masala Restaurant.
We went there because of a group-buy coupon deal. And like many restaurants associated with group-buy coupons, it was not worth it. This restaurant may be in serious decline. They put out a large sign about their lunch buffet and special. But when we entered, there was no buffet. There were no other customers. Perhaps we were early but it was already 12 noon. Soon after we entered, another group of Indian customers arrived. But after finding out buffet was not available, they left. So from this we can see this restaurant has lost the customer base to support a lunch buffet. The restaurant also had water damage on the ceiling and looked like it needed a long overdue repair. We wanted to order the lunch special written on the board. But because we were going with a coupon, the waitress had to explain that none of the entrees includes naan bread. She explains if you are not using a coupon and order lunch special, there would be naan included. This is not a big deal, but I just feel an Indian restaurant should not be stingy about naan. And if they have a special, why can't coupon holder use it? There are always hidden rules not clearly stated on the coupon. The food was not great either. I honestly think the lamb meat was a little sour, but it was well concealed beneath the heavy layer of flavours. The Chicken Tikka and biryani was bland... nothing that stands out. I remembered food court Indian food that tastes better. The Garlic Naan was good though. Fresh and hot. Wow geez... maybe I should have spent all the coupon allowance on Naan bread. Anyways, I don't think I will return as it costs about $20-$25 a person ordering entree and Naan + taxes and tips. And if food court Indian tastes better..... It is nice to try out new restaurants with the deals/coupons we have nowadays. But I think there are more disappointments than pleasant surprises.
I was there last night with my family for dinner. We ordered mixed kabab platter, chikn curry afghani, biutter chicken biryani and tandori shrimps. The food was undercooked and bad tasing . Waiters were rude and thought they are doing a favour to us and not serving us. Probabaly the worst experience I had in canada. I will Never go there.

Service - Friendly, competent, attentive. Food - Balanced flavour, authentic, too much oil. The Naan breads I got were so bloody good I had to eat 2 and I'm not usually the type to over indulge.
I went at Garam Masala because of my friend's recommendation. Their chi tikka was amazing and so as the naan bread. I've never had such an authentic Indian food anywhere. Service was good, very comfortable place...I'll go again....
Their food is very tasty. We have been to so many restaurants but this restaurant is the best. We had a great experience. Their food is awesome, their price is reasonable, and the service is excellent. Very nice, and beautiful place to spend time with friends and family. Worth going again and again with more friends!!!
Have tried their takeout. This is the best tandoori chicken we've eaten in Canada in several years. At $7.99 for a whole chicken (weekend takeout special), its really worth it. The naans at $1.50 are pretty large and filling too. Recommended to friends and they liked it too. We go there often now.
we have been going to garam masala from last 6-7 months...food have always been a feast for us. My g'f likes their mangoo lasii, garlic naaan, chicken tikaa..for me its always butter chicken. I have beeen eating indian througout my life as my mom is indian tooo.
Mostly, I go there in lunch time. It is near to my office. It was recommended by my friend. They have fabolous lunch buffet at $ 10 very reasonable price. It includes Thai items in the buffet which is bonus. I am stick to this place now :) I will sure recommends this to every body.
Pricy. four items on the buffet. Stale meat served and poor service. Rude Waiter. What else can I say? Go there and experience the horrible food.
The chef at Garam Masala creates exquisite, authentic flavours. We are always amazed at the consistent quality of such fine dishes. The care in the blending of spices is quite evident, not matter what we order. Be sure to try the chef's latest rendition of kheer with a hint of saffron: it's fantastic. And the Masala Chai is always lovely. This place is a favourite of ours: always friendly and very comfortable. Garam Masala takes pride in their culinary creations.
we were recommended by a dear friend of ours so we planned our weekend dinner at garam masala and we enjoyed every moment spent there and would love to go again and again. Food quality is very fresh and quantity is appropriate, moreover its not overpriced an less oily. Service is very friendly with nice gestures and they got very polished wait staff who took care of us. we had tried many indian restaurants and we were not satisfied but never got a chance to visit this place. Now we found the right place and we need to satisfy our burning desire to enjoy the indian cuisine...hats offf!! Cheers
The food was awful and the service was disgusting and putrid. These people acted like they were doing me a favour by serving me. After waiting 20 minutes, I grabbed my food and left. The food was as awful as the service. 1/10
my g/f likes this place alott..i visited this place 2nd time..the food quality was amazing both the times and service attitude is great..few things to recommend..haven't got feedback cards (feedback cards to write)..should also have employee batches which say their names ...rest all is great..and above all mango lassii..i would give 20 out of 10 to lassi
